We live in a time when many people are having a crisis of identity. This is because our culture believes that identity is either something we create or something we derive from our roles. The Bible says the opposite: identity is something we receive from God, and it is only after we receive a new identity in Christ that we can truly understand the role that God wants us to have in this world.
