The Lonely Saviour

We are living in what has been called “an epidemic of loneliness and isolation.” In many nations, loneliness is considered to be a public health crisis. Jesus Himself experienced a profound moment of loneliness on the cross that the world has never seen or will see again. And yet, it is His loneliness that holds the remedy to our loneliness. Listen as Pastor Josh teaches on the loneliness of our Saviour and the difference that it makes to our lives.

Lessons from a Banquet

Jesus teachings and actions were so unexpected by everyone who saw and heard him. He used banquets to show us how different His Kingdom is, and to show us how much He cares for those that nobody cares about. Listen as Pastor Jim Donohue shows us what type of kingdom community Jesus is building and calling us to be a part of.

A Vision for the Church

In this New Member Sunday sermon, Pastor Josh makes the case that the apostolic church shouldn’t be viewed as a relic of the past but set a precedent for the future. Listen as he identifies seven features of the apostolic church from this text and explains what it would look like for these features to be practiced today.

The Privilege of Missions

Why should our church participate in the Lord’s work globally? There are a number of reasons; For the Glory of God, because Hell is real and people need to hear the Gospel, and because the love of God should compel us. But the church should also participate in global missions because it is a privilege to do so. Listen as Pastor Paul McDonald walks us through these verses.

A Reason to Rescue

Who wants to take a hard look at hell? No one. And yet, Jesus spoke more consistently about the horrors of hell than any other person in the New Testament. Why did he do that? What does he want us to know about hell? And how is this supposed to change the way we live? Listen as our guest preacher, Pastor Jim Donohue, pastors us through these questions with both passion and gentleness.

The Shame He Endured; The Honor He Won

What is shame? Shame is the feeling that you are fundamentally flawed, unworthy, and unacceptable—not just because of what you’ve done, but because of who you are.
Jesus was rejected by men, and rejected by God Himself, as our substitute. He bore your shame and became an outcast so that He might give to you His acceptance and make you a son or daughter of God. Listen as guest preacher Josh Pannell takes us through this passage.

Joyful Evangelism

What is the relevance of Christian joy to Christian witness? These two verses from this well-known and deeply loved Psalm on repentance show us that the most effective evangelism is done by the most joyful Christians. In this special outreach sermon, Pastor Josh shows us where this joy comes from and the difference it makes to our efforts to reach the lost.
